Kevin Gray toughs out conditions at Long Pond for 1st place while others throw in the towel early...
The wind was howling at
Long Pond nd made fishing conditions "tough as woodpecker lips" as some
in the club would say. The wind made things so difficult that a few
anglers packed up early and went home. Those that stayed endured high
winds, heavy chop and an awful bite. Kevin Gray managed to bring
in a good 5 fish limit of close to 12 pounds to easlily take first
place. Paul Stewart just missed the 10 pound mark with a four fish
limit of 9.98 lbs and finished second moving up to first in the overall
season standings after his second top five finish in a row. Dan Harpin
was close behind with 9.27 lbs, good enough for third place. Rob
Brossman and Bruce Jones finished 4th and 5th and Bruce is now tied
with Paul Stewart for 1st place overall.
